I was a bit surprised to read all the negative reviews about the employees. My experience was nothing but great and friendly. Being out of town, I stopped in to grab some Polish sausage to bring back home. It was delicious! So many different meat options. The deli case is full of homecooked and prepared meals that just need to be heated up. Everything looked yum yum! Cant wait to come back and try a few!
I believe the deli has new owners for few years now, the quality of fresh food has improved!
I'm a regular to this Awesome place! Love the selection of meats, pastries, teas of all kinds for all things bread is always fresh especially mornings. Lady's are nice and serious at the same time but always polite. Always quick to answer your questions about your choices. Young gentlemen at the register always says hello. I witnessed them always serve all walk of culture with a smile. This is your Get in and get out store they are not there to do a dance for you or throw flowers as you enter their establishment. I always notice none polish ppl walk in with a attitude like the own the place or judge them without reason this is not Tony's or Jewel it's a small place they want you in and out because it gets cramped really fast but they don't rush you not one bit it's a fast pace place when it's busy and some take it as rudeness. If they don't answer you at a sec you ask they will always way's come back stop and help. Yes some have a language barrier but you will always be treated with respect. You give respect you get respect back they don't play. Their smoked meats and fish are AMAZING! a must try. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
This is the second year in a row we ordered food from them and it was excellent. We ordered chicken cutlets, gravy, mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, and potato pancakes. All our guests loved it! The sauerkraut is just the right mix, not too sweet, not too sour. I believe the new owners took over in the last year or two, so for those of you who have been there before that, please give them another chance. I believe the owner is Teresa. She went out of her way to make sure we got everything we wanted and it was hot. Prices are super reasonable. We will definitely be ordering from them again next year.
